Classical music has been an important companion throughout Paul Chiang’s life. The "On Wings of Song" series, created after he settled in Taitung, was inspired by a poem by German poet Heinrich Heine and the famous musical setting by Mendelssohn. The soft, vibrant bubbles floating across the canvas seem to carry melodies through the air, full of rhythm and movement.
